The NAB showed its dedication to younger Wildcats this week by rolling out the welcome mat to their parents and providing a significant gift to middle school sports. During a special meeting Feb. 8 at Novi Middle School, the board gave a presentation on the club’s vision and invited parents and fans to become involved.

As an evening highlight, NAB President Jay Dooley presented a $5,000 check to Athletic Director Christian Wilson and Middle School Principal Stephanie Shriner. The funds will benefit spring athletic teams.

“Most of the athletes who participate at the high school get their start at the middle school, and the Athletic Boosters understand the financial responsibility that those programs require and are more than willing to help pay the expenditures that create successful programs,” Wilson said.
