The Novi Athletic Boosters recognized some of the best and brightest from the Class of 2012 with its presentation of four $1,000 Boosters Scholarships to deserving seniors during Senior Honors Night on May 23. Winners of these scholarships are triple threats: as successful in the classroom as on the courts and fields of athletic competition and recognized as leaders on their teams and in their school, places of worship and community.

Here is a closer look at this year’s recipients:

• Zoe Jenkins – A team captain on both the Varsity Girls Cross Country and Varsity Girls Track & Field teams, Zoe plans to study international relations at George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
• Curtis Herzog – A captain on the Varsity Boys Lacrosse team and member of the Varsity Boys Hockey team, Curtis plans to be study pre-Med at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
• Zachary Masserant – A team captain on both the Varsity Boys Football and Varsity Track & Field teams, Zach plans to study pre-Med at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
• Lauren Pollard – A captain of the Varsity Girls Field Hockey team and member of the Varsity Girls Soccer team, Lauren plans to major in engineering at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
